Bolt suspended a Russian-speaking female taxi driver who verbally abused Ukrainian women in Milan
Following an internal investigation, the taxi service Bolt permanently banned Tatyana, a Russian-speaking driver who verbally abused Ukrainian women in Milan because of their language, from the platform.
The company emphasized that discriminatory and hateful behavior is unacceptable and violates the service’s safety standards.
Passenger Anna Danylyuk, who posted a video of the incident on social media, was compensated for the ride and given promo codes for future rides. She confirmed that the company had resolved the situation and added that she did not contact the local police due to a lack of time while in Italy.

In Milan, Italy, a Russian-speaking taxi driver got into a verbal altercation with women who were speaking Ukrainian. According to eyewitnesses, the taxi driver insulted the Ukrainian women and expressed dissatisfaction with their origin and the language they were speaking.
As a reminder, Polish police reported the preliminary cause of the beating of three Ukrainians.
