IBM reaches a new level in the development of quantum computing
At the annual Quantum Technology Developers Conference, IBM unveiled the new IBM Quantum Nighthawk processor, which the company considers its most advanced achievement in quantum computing. This processor has 120 qubits connected through 218 newly customized connectors, which allows for more complex quantum operations with low error rates. IBM expects that future versions of Nighthawk will be able to process up to 15,000 two-qubit operations by 2028, opening up new opportunities for applications in various industries.

In addition, IBM has announced an update to its Qiskit software, which provides more accurate control of quantum circuits and improved performance by using classical computing methods to correct errors.
