The number of people injured in the Russian attack on the Odesa region has risen to nine
As a result of the Russian attack in the Odesa region, the number of casualties has risen to nine. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
In the Odesa district, a shopping center building was destroyed, after which a fire broke out there. Dry vegetation near the building also caught fire.
Despite repeated air raid alerts, rescue workers extinguished the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading further.
At another location, two private homes were completely destroyed as a result of the attack, and three more cars and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service were on site at the strike locations, providing necessary assistance to residents affected by the Russian attack.
In total, nine people were injured in the Odesa region as a result of the enemy strike.

As a result of the Russian attack on the Sumy region, a grain elevator belonging to the “Ukrlandfarming” group of companies sustained significant damage. Due to the scale of the destruction, the facility’s operations were completely halted, and the grain reserves stored there were destroyed.
During the day, Russian troops attacked a post office in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, using a drone.
In addition, Russian attack drones are targeting Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Emergency rescue operations have already begun in the city.
In the Kherson region, four people were injured on August 16 as a result of Russian attacks. Residential buildings, a hospital wing, and other civilian infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
In addition, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured in the attack.
