A tax office building in Kyiv was damaged in an attack by the Russian Federation
As a result of a massive Russian attack on Kyiv on August 20, one of the administrative buildings of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Kyiv was damaged.
No tax service employees were injured. Windows in the building were shattered and the facade was damaged. Work to repair the damage caused by the attack has already begun.
“Another night when the Russian enemy tried to break us. Unfortunately, people have died again. My sincere condolences to the families of the deceased, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery. The enemy’s cynicism knows no bounds. The Russians are destroying ordinary, peaceful cities, residential buildings, social infrastructure, and businesses,” Karnaukh emphasized.
A massive attack on Kyiv on the night of August 19 caused widespread destruction and fires in the Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, and Darnytskyi districts of the capital. As of this morning, there were reports of fatalities and dozens of casualties; details regarding the consequences are still being clarified.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia had been preparing for a massive attack for a long time, combining various types of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and strike drones to inflict maximum damage on civilian infrastructure.
