Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov reported an increase in the death toll following a nighttime attack by Russian drones on the city.

As of the morning of April 23, 2026, three deaths have been confirmed.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing at the site where a residential high-rise was struck. Earlier reports indicated two fatalities and one person missing.

The nighttime drone attack caused significant damage in one of the city’s central districts.

A Russian UAV struck the high-rise building directly, causing fires in several apartments and a partial collapse of the structure.
