Video: Yanukovych's restaurant ship in Mezhyhirya has partially sunk
A video has surfaced online showing the flooded “Galion” landing craft, which previously belonged to fugitive former President Viktor Yanukovych and was used as a luxury restaurant ship in Mezhyhirya.
The Facebook page of the State Institution “Mezhyhirya Park—a Monument of Landscape Architecture of National Significance” posted a comment regarding this incident.
“Due to a sharp rise in the water level in the Kyiv Reservoir, water began to enter the ‘Galleon’ Cultural and Recreational Center, located on the territory of the ‘Mezhyhiria’ Park-Monument,” the statement reads.

It is reported that the institution’s staff promptly identified the threat and immediately took measures to mitigate the effects of the flooding. In particular, they began pumping out the water, utilizing all available park equipment and machinery—pumps, water pumps, and vehicles. Despite the efforts of emergency services, they were unable to completely stop the flooding of the vessel.
In order to preserve the interiors and exhibits, management decided to urgently evacuate all movable property that was on board the landing stage.
Currently, part of the "Galleon" remains flooded. Work to address the consequences of the emergency continues at the site of the accident.
