Peskov assures that the Kremlin did not receive Zelensky's message from Lukashenko

The Kremlin stated that Belarus’s self-proclaimed president, Alexander Lukashenko, did not convey any messages from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that during the talks between Putin and Lukashenko, the main focus was on bilateral relations, trade and economic cooperation, and regional security issues. He also said that the parties discussed alleged “attempts to provoke Belarus.”

At the same time, Peskov refused to answer journalists’ questions about whether Lukashenko is being used as a channel of communication between Moscow and Kyiv.

Finally, he specifically emphasized that Lukashenko did not convey any “message” from Zelenskyy to Putin.
