The Kremlin has stated that, despite the pause in negotiations, it continues to maintain contact with the United States

The Kremlin stated that trilateral talks on the war in Ukraine remain on hold, but contacts with the United States are continuing.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, it is currently difficult to organize negotiations involving all three parties, particularly due to the U.S. side’s busy schedule.

At the same time, Peskov noted that the exchange of information between Russia and the US continues through existing channels.

The Kremlin also stated that it has no confirmation regarding a possible visit to Kyiv by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner.

The Kremlin is demanding that Kyiv make a decision as soon as possible to withdraw Ukrainian troops from the Donbas region.

The Kremlin reacted to a possible initiative to introduce a “ceasefire” for Easter. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that no clear proposal regarding an Easter truce had been received from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
