In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a mandatory evacuation has been ordered for 23 more settlements
On June 17, in the Synelnykivsky District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the forced evacuation of families with children began in 23 more settlements. The decision was made by the local military administration due to the deteriorating security situation in the region.
“The forced evacuation of families with children has begun from another 23 settlements in the Synelnykivsky district. These are in the Shakhtarska, Dubovykivska, and Bohynivska communities,” the post states.
It is noted that nearly 3,800 boys and girls are expected to leave the dangerous areas within a month.
The official noted that the evacuation of adults is still underway in seven other communities in the district. According to him, all families with children have already left Novokyivka, Illinka, and Vyshchetarasivka in the Nikopol district.
He also noted that the evacuation of all residents from one street in Marganets and nearly 100 residents from Nikopol is continuing.
According to OVA Head Oleksandr Hanzha, a total of more than 49,500 people have already left the Synelnykivskyi district, and nearly 750 residents have left the Nikopol district.
“The evacuation is taking place through transit centers. There, they provide financial, legal, psychological, and medical assistance, as well as food and hygiene kits, and help with the restoration of documents. They also assist with subsequent resettlement,” he added.
As a reminder, Russian occupation forces shelled the Lozova community, damaging the city’s largest boiler plant and key water supply facilities.
