Streets in Kyiv Will Be Closed Due to Construction – Maps

At the end of July, traffic will be temporarily restricted on two major road sections in the capital due to scheduled repair work.

On the South Bridge, road workers will be resurfacing the asphalt concrete pavement in the direction from the left bank to the right bank of the Dnipro River. The restrictions will be in effect around the clock from 11:00 a.m. on July 24 until 8:00 a.m. on July 27. Work will be carried out in the far-right lane, while traffic will be routed through the second and third lanes.

Additionally, larger-scale work will begin in the Podilskyi District on Vvedenska Street. Specialists from the Podil Road Maintenance Department will be resurfacing the road on the section from Mezhigirska Street toward Pochayninska Street. Traffic restrictions here will last from July 24 to August 30.

Municipal services apologize for the temporary inconvenience and recommend that drivers take these changes into account in advance when planning their routes through the city.

As a reminder, new fares for municipal public transportation took effect in Kyiv on July 15. The cost of a single trip on the metro, buses, trolleybuses, trams, and the funicular will increase from 8 to 30 hryvnias. This is the first fare increase in the capital in the last six years.
