Russia's largest food terminal in Taman has halted operations following a drone attack
Located in the port of Taman, Russia’s largest food transshipment terminal—owned by the Efko Group—suspended operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones on the night of July 30.
A fire broke out at the facility during the strike, prompting experts to assess the damage and carry out restoration work, while the company is seeking alternative supply routes.
The facility has an annual throughput capacity of 1.5 million metric tons of vegetable oils, molasses, and oilseed meal. The shutdown of the terminal operated by a leading Russian food producer (brands “Sloboda,” Altero, and DeOlio) could significantly disrupt logistics: According to analysts’ estimates, Russian sunflower oil exports are at risk of falling by 40% in August due to the de facto suspension of shipments through the ports of the Azov and Black Seas.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported the successful strike on the Yaroslavl oil refinery “Slavneft-YANOS” and two patrol ships of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Coast Guard in the temporarily occupied city of Kerch.
