Video: Bezuhlaya's Aide May Become Head of Kyiv's Obolon District
Oleksandr Kucheryavyi, an aide to People's Deputy Mariana Bezugla, may become the head of Kyiv's Obolon District.
This was reported by attorney Oleksiy Shevchuk.
According to him, Kucheryavy is the leading contender for the position.
“Oleksandr distinguished himself by canceling a detailed zoning plan that called for the development of the district and by actively fighting against the construction of a water park,” Shevchuk said.
It is currently unknown whether Kucheryavy will resign from his position as the MP’s assistant.
“This is quite a Solomon-like decision, considering that some representatives from the mayor’s team were also being considered for the position of head of the Obolon District. Specifically, those representatives who promoted the total development of the Obonska Embankment and protected areas, in particular, a certain Bohdan Chornyi,” the lawyer added.
As a reminder, Kyrylo Fesyk, the head of the Obolon District State Administration in Kyiv, is stepping down. The official announced this on his Facebook page, noting that his tenure in this position, which lasted more than six years, is coming to an end.
