People's Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Ponomariov shared a photo with his new girlfriend for the first time; he had previously tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye. The singer posted the photo on Instagram while wishing his friend, the well-known TV host Dmytro Komarov, a happy birthday.

 In the published photo, the artist is pictured with the birthday boy, singer Dzidzio, and his girlfriend, who, according to long-standing rumors in show business, is his concert director Sofia, who is 17 years younger than the singer.

Last year, the singer officially confirmed that he had been in a relationship for several years, but had deliberately avoided going public with this information. The new photo marks the first official confirmation of his romance after a long period of secrecy. Prior to this relationship, the artist had two high-profile public marriages.

Alexander Ponomarev’s first wife was the well-known producer Elena Mozgova, with whom he lived for ten years and raised their daughter Yevgeniya, as well as Elena’s daughter from a previous marriage, Zoya. In 2006, Victoria Martynyuk became the singer’s second official wife; she gave birth to Alexander’s son, but four years after the wedding, the couple also announced their official divorce.
