Fire at an oil depot in the Tambov region: drones attacked two Russian regions

On the night of 3 December, drones attacked an oil depot in the Tambov region, causing a fire after debris fell.

The scale of the fire or the consequences for the infrastructure are not specified. No information about casualties has been released.

On the same night, attacks were recorded in the Voronezh region, where, according to Governor Alexander Gusev, air defence forces shot down four drones. Debris from one aircraft ‘slightly damaged’ several fuel tanks, but no fire broke out.

Emergency services localised the consequences of the debris fall. No restrictions were announced for the population.

The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that during the night, air defence forces allegedly intercepted and destroyed 102 Ukrainian drones. The Russian ministry did not confirm the content and accuracy of these figures with additional evidence.

There is no independent confirmation of the reported number of targets shot down. The frequency of such reports has increased in parallel with the intensification of attacks on Russian fuel infrastructure.

We remind you that in Russia, drones attacked the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region.

Also, in the Samara region of Russia, drones attacked the Novokuybyshevsky oil refinery.
