Putin announced plans to establish a security zone along the border with Ukraine

The Kremlin has announced its intention to continue establishing a so-called "security zone" near the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by TASS.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin claims that this process is already underway and will continue until the “threat” to Russia’s border regions is “eliminated.”

According to him, the “security zone” is gradually being established in certain territories, and such actions will continue.

He also stated that the Russian government is working to support residents of border regions, particularly in Kursk, where payments and other assistance measures are planned.

Putin emphasized that, according to the authorities’ plan, conditions must be created so that people remain in these regions, restore lost property, and continue development.

Additionally, in 2025, the Russian state gained control over 32 strategic enterprises with a total value of approximately 2.5 trillion rubles. The authorities state that the nationalization process will continue.

Demand for vodka is rising in Russia amid rising prices for other types of alcohol and a decline in the population’s purchasing power.

The Irkutsk Regional Court in Russia sentenced programmer Vadim Nekrashchuk to 13 years in a maximum-security prison on charges of treason.
