During an attack on the night of July 30, Russian troops completely destroyed the Axis Wine craft winery in Lviv. The extent of the damage and the cost of the lost equipment and products are currently being assessed, and the team has already announced a fundraiser to rebuild the winery.

The company was founded by Dmytro Kopiy and Serhiy Urbanovskyi. They released their first vintage in 2017 and received an official small-producer license at the end of 2021.

The winery produced about 4,000 bottles of wine per year (up to 5,000 liters), using classic European and Ukrainian grape varieties, including those from Bessarabia. As of the end of 2025, the company’s revenue totaled 551,500 UAH, and the value of its assets was estimated at 1.84 million UAH.

This was reported by the winery’s team.

Russia launched a missile attack on Lviv: residential buildings were on fire in the city, and there are casualties.
