In the Novoslobodsk community of Sumy Oblast, Russian military forces attacked a combine harvester with a drone while it was working in the field; the strike completely destroyed the machine, while the driver managed to exit the vehicle in time and avoid injury.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the incident on its Telegram channel, specifying the time of the attack and its consequences. “This happened today around 4:30 p.m. The driver managed to escape—he was not injured. The combine harvester was completely destroyed,” the official statement reads.
The attack was yet another strike on the region’s civilian infrastructure, where farmers are forced to work under constant threat from the air, risking their lives during routine fieldwork.
