The SBS attacked 13 energy facilities in the occupied territories
The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems unit continues Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,” striking the energy infrastructure of the Russian occupation forces in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories. Between August 4 and 5, 13 energy facilities were struck.
According to Brovdi, from July 1 through August 5, as part of Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,” the Ukrainian military struck 201 energy facilities belonging to the Russian occupation forces in the temporarily occupied territories.
Among the targets struck were:
- the 750 kV “Pivdennodonbaska” substation (Kremenivka, Donetsk Oblast);
- the 330 kV “Mirna” substation (Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast);
- the 150 kV Botievskaya Wind Farm substation (Primorsky Posad, Zaporizhzhia Oblast);
- the 150 kV “Melitopol” substation (Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia Oblast);
- the 150 kV “Azovsilmash” substation (Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast);
- the 150 kV “Yakymivka-Transitna” traction substation (Yakymivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast);
- 150 kV “Tymofiivka” substation (Kherson Oblast);
- the 110 kV “Topoline” substation (Donetsk Oblast);
- the 110 kV “Misto-11” and “NS-2” power substations in Mariupol;
- the substation at the Zuivska Thermal Power Plant (Zugres, Donetsk Oblast);
- the substation in Kadiivka (Luhansk Oblast);
- the “Natashyne” gas distribution station in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The strikes were carried out by various units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, including “Ptakh Madyara,” “Rarog,” “Nemesis,” and “K-2.”
Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off” is aimed at weakening the energy infrastructure that Russian troops use to supply their military formations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

In Bashkortostan on the morning of August 5, following a drone attack, a fire broke out at one of the facilities of the Ufa Oil Refining Complex, which is owned by Rosneft. According to reports from Russian authorities, one of the drones crashed into an industrial zone despite the operation of air defense systems.
In addition, on the night of August 5, drones attacked the Wildberries logistics complex in Aleksin, Tula Oblast, Russia. The company’s largest warehouse in Russia’s Central Federal District, with an area of approximately 300,000 square meters, was hit.
On the night of August 4, 2026, drones attacked a distribution center belonging to “Lenta,” one of Russia’s largest supermarket chains, in the Leningrad Region. A fire broke out at the facility following the strike, and operations at the receiving warehouse were temporarily suspended.
