Tusk took a dig at Kaczyński, hinting at a possible defeat for Orbán
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk took a jab at Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of the opposition Law and Justice party, amid the opposition’s likely victory in Hungary’s parliamentary elections.
This was reported by RMF24.
In a post on X on Friday, Tusk recalled a statement Kaczyński made back in 2011, when he expressed hope that Viktor Orbán’s political success in Hungary would “be repeated in Warsaw.”
“Kaczyński failed to achieve a ‘Budapest’ in Warsaw, but it is very likely that starting Sunday, we will see a ‘Warsaw’ in Budapest,” Tusk wrote.
In this way, the Polish prime minister hinted at a possible defeat for Orbán’s party after its long tenure in power.
As a reminder, despite Orbán’s blocking, Ukraine will receive 90 billion: MPA President Galina Heilo on EU plans to finance the country.
Balázs Orbán, political director to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, assured that Ukraine does not pose a military threat to his country.
