The number of victims of the Russian missile strike in Balakliya has risen

During the day, Russian forces launched a two-missile strike on the town of Balakliya in the Izyum District of Kharkiv Oblast. As a result of the attack, a 59-year-old man who was in a parked car was killed, and six other civilians—four women and two men—were injured to varying degrees.

The enemy shelling damaged private homes, civilian vehicles, retail establishments, and the local hospital building. Law enforcement and specialized agencies worked at the scene, and police investigators opened a criminal case regarding violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Earlier, it was reported that on July 27, Russian troops struck the city of Balakliya in the Kharkiv region. One person was killed as a result of the attack.

The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) has identified those responsible for the shelling of the ATB supermarket in Chernihiv.
