In Pryluky, rescue workers pulled a child alive from the rubble following a Russian missile strike
In Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, rescuers from the State Emergency Service pulled a small child alive from under the rubble of a residential building that was destroyed by a Russian missile strike.
A video released shows State Emergency Service personnel pulling the child from under the rubble of the destroyed building and then handing the child over to other rescuers.
The rescue operation in Pryluky is ongoing. All necessary emergency services are working at the site of the Russian strike.
According to updated reports, five people were killed and another 25 were injured when a missile struck a high-rise residential building. Among the victims are five children.
On the night of October 6, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine, using various types of missiles and strike drones.
According to the Air Force, air defense forces destroyed or neutralized 161 enemy targets.
On the morning of October 7, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Pryluky in the Chernihiv region. One of the missiles struck a residential high-rise directly, causing significant damage to the building.
At another location, a fire broke out in an industrial building following Russian shelling.
Rescue workers continue to clear the rubble and conduct search-and-rescue operations, as people may still be trapped beneath the debris.

Following a combined Russian attack on Ukrainian cities, emergency rescue operations are ongoing at eight locations. Rescue workers and other services are operating in Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as in the Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.
As a result of last night’s massive attack on the Kyiv region, the bird sanctuary at the well-known “Sadiba Nyushanik” wildlife rehabilitation center was completely destroyed by fire. Birds and a cat inside the building were killed when it was hit.
As a reminder, the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio in Kyiv has once again sustained damage as a result of Russian shelling. Following a massive missile attack, debris from a Russian missile fell onto the studio’s grounds and damaged the film studios.
In Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad Oblast, part of the city was left without power following a nighttime Russian attack. Emergency services and utility companies are currently working to restore electricity.
In the Kirovohrad region, a high school and a cultural center were damaged by the Russian attack. Seventeen windows were shattered at the science high school, and three more were damaged at the cultural center. As a result, about 100 students will temporarily switch to remote learning starting tomorrow.
As a reminder, Russia destroyed a five-story building with people inside in Pryluky with a missile.
At least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of a nighttime attack.
Russia struck Zaporizhzhia’s transportation infrastructure.
Russia also struck Dnipro with ballistic missiles, damaging a factory.
