Five more communists were arrested in Moscow for chanting "Down with the Tsar!"

In Moscow, the Tagansky District Court imposed administrative detention and fines on five people detained following a Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) rally that took place on October 4 and was broken up by law enforcement due to anti-government slogans.

Specifically, Vladimir Bodiashkin received a 15-day detention, while Kamilla Fetiskina and Daria Korolkova each received 10 days. Two other detainees, Tatyana Ustinova and her daughter Maria Ratova, were fined 25,000 and 20,000 rubles, respectively. The women stated that they had found themselves in the crowd by accident and had given their testimony under duress.

Earlier, the Tverskoy District Court sentenced Kirill Martemyanov to 14 days in custody and fined Maria Usoltseva 4,000 rubles, while six other individuals were each fined 10,000 rubles. According to attorney Oskar Cherjiev, the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained the detentions by claiming that the event had allegedly not been authorized “to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.” In total, the rally drew about 2,000 people, of whom approximately 60 were detained after they began chanting the slogans “Down with the Tsar” and “Down with the party of swindlers and thieves.”

This was reported by SotaVision.
