The Moscow Region is on fire; the blaze can be seen from miles away
A massive fire has broken out in Russia’s Moscow Region, filling the sky with thick smoke visible from dozens of kilometers away. The cause of the fire is currently unknown; there has been no official statement from the authorities yet, while local residents are actively posting videos from the scene.
In the Moscow region, near the village of Belyi Rast, a large fire broke out, which spread rapidly and created a dense cloud of smoke visible even from distant settlements, according to local Telegram channels and eyewitnesses on social media.
According to residents, the flames and smoke rose so high that they could be seen from dozens of kilometers away, and the fire itself began to rapidly spread across a large area, causing concern among people in the vicinity. “Local residents are posting videos and photos of the massive fire on social media,” according to posts from public pages that were the first to share information about the incident.
At this time, it is not known exactly what is burning or what caused the fire, as no official statements have yet been issued by Russian authorities, and various sources are limited to preliminary theories and assumptions.
It is also reported that no air raid alert has been issued in the region, and the situation continues to unfold, with the extent of the fire and possible consequences remaining unclear until official information is released.
