Ukraine is not losing and is in its strongest form in 10 months — Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia’s claims of significant territorial gains are untrue, and that the situation on the front lines remains under control.
According to the head of state, claims of the alleged seizure of over 700 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory, including full control over the Luhansk region, are part of propaganda and are unfounded.
He emphasized that even international partners no longer accept such assessments and do not believe that Russia is winning the war.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the front line remains challenging, and Ukrainian troops repel hundreds of attacks every day. At the same time, he said, since the beginning of the year, the balance of territorial changes has been in Ukraine’s favor—more territory has been liberated than lost.
The president noted that the Ukrainian army is currently in its most stable condition in the last 10 months, although the situation remains tense and requires constant support, particularly funding and increased drone production.
He also stated that the Russian army does not have sufficient forces for a large-scale offensive, and its losses remain high—at the level of 30,000–35,000 personnel per month.
Zelenskyy warned of the risk of an offensive from Belarus.
Zelenskyy is counting on a reset and strengthening of relations with Hungary.
