A $10 million bounty has been offered in Iraq for Donald Trump's head

In Iraq, pro-Iranian militants have announced a reward for the assassination of U.S. President Donald Trump. They are promising to pay $10 million to any person, organization, or institution that successfully carries out an assassination attempt on the American leader.

The money for the reward was raised through voluntary donations from militants in Iraq. In their view, the assassination of Trump is intended as an act of revenge for the 2020 killings of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces. Both figures were killed in Baghdad as a result of a U.S. drone strike, which was personally ordered by the White House at the time.

In their statement, the militants emphasized that the free people of the world will continue to pursue those they consider to be murderers of children and scientists, and that the oppressors will never know peace.

U.S. troops are to fully withdraw from Iraq by September 30. This was announced by Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington.

Iraq has suspendedoperations at its oil terminals following Iran’s attack on tankers.

Iraq is working to restore an abandoned oil pipeline that will allow oil to be transported from the city of Kirkuk directly to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, bypassing the territory of Kurdistan.
