On Tuesday, May 12, warm weather will continue across Ukraine, with temperatures reaching up to 24 degrees Celsius in some areas. At the same time, rain, thunderstorms, and strong gusts of wind are expected in several regions.
This was reported by meteorologist Natalka Didenko on Telegram.
According to her, the highest probability of precipitation today is forecast for the western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Vinnytsia regions, parts of Cherkasy and Odesa regions, and in some areas of Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
No significant precipitation is expected in other regions.

“The prevailing wind in Ukraine will be southerly, and in the west—northwesterly, 7–12 meters per second; storm gusts are possible, so be careful! In the eastern regions, the wind will be light to moderate,” Didenko noted.
The meteorologist also advised Ukrainians to take advantage of the warm weather, as it won’t last long.

As early as Wednesday, May 13, a significant drop in temperature is expected in most regions of Ukraine, except for the eastern regions. The air temperature will drop to +11…+14 degrees.
In several regions of Ukraine, forecasters have warned of deteriorating weather conditions expected during the day on May 8. This applies most to the western regions, as well as the Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, where thunderstorms are forecast.
In the coming days, weather conditions in Ukraine will change—short-lived rains, thunderstorms in some areas, and a gradual drop in air temperature are expected in most regions.
