Explosion at a substation in Orsk: city left without electricity
On the evening of January 14, an explosion occurred at an electrical substation in Orsk, Orenburg region, initially cutting power in some areas and later leaving the entire city without electricity.
Local authorities have so far refrained from commenting, likely due to communication disruptions caused by the accident. However, numerous posts by residents on social media confirm reports of a large-scale blackout.
According to OSINT communities, the blackout began immediately after the explosion, and no air raid alerts were announced in the region at the time.
