A criminal case has been opened regarding Viktor Goldsky’s actions — excerpt from the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations
A criminal investigation has been opened into the actions of Viktor Goldsky, owner of the Comments.ua media group, regarding the alleged
forgery of documents. UA.News learned this from its own sources
The National Police have opened a criminal case regarding possible illegal actions by Viktor Goldsky, the owner of the online publication Comments.ua. The case involves an offense under Part 1 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (forgery of documents).
The case was registered on April 3, 2026. The case materials indicate that law enforcement received a ruling from the Svyatoshinsky District Court of Kyiv, which points to signs of a criminal offense in the actions of Viktor Goldsky.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative unit of the Svyatoshynsky Police Department in Kyiv. Prosecutors are overseeing the proceedings in the case.
A Brief History: Who Is Viktor Goldsky?
Viktor Goldsky describes himself as a businessman, blogger, journalist, philanthropist, and somewhat of a lawyer. According to state registries, Goldsky owns several companies and a charitable foundation. Interestingly, he has refused to obtain a tax identification number, a move previously made by other figures implicated in corruption cases, such as former NBU Governor Serhiy Arbuzov, who is said to be a friend of Kurchenko.
Officially, Goldsky owns the media group Comments.ua. It is Comments that serves the business interests of the fugitive oligarch Kurchenko, who is trying to maintain control over the remnants of his business empire.
Another major source of income for Viktor Goldsky may be questionable real estate transactions. According to the property rights registry, he owns nine apartments in Kyiv.
According to insider information, Goldsky allegedly acquires housing from socially vulnerable people, particularly from single individuals and people with mental disorders, seemingly using schemes that may be illegal.
Following the publication of investigations into Goldsky’s actions, citizens began contacting the editorial office with new evidence of Goldsky’s alleged involvement in schemes to seize property from socially vulnerable individuals in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, and Kropyvnytskyi.
According to the complainants, this involves entering into gift or life support agreements with drug-dependent, mentally ill, or elderly people, which ultimately leads to the transfer of their real estate to the ownership of Viktor Goldsky or individuals associated with him. The same notary, named Antsyferova, appears in all of these agreements.
The UA.NEWS editorial team managed to locate court case No. 761/31203/20, which was heard in the Desnianskyi District Court of Kyiv, establishing that relatives of individuals who had transferred their property to Goldsky only learned that the property had been re-registered to third parties after the death of a close relative.
Journalists also documented cases of significant utility bill arrears at the respective addresses, which may indicate improper fulfillment of maintenance obligations.
Such facts may indicate illegal real estate deals involving socially vulnerable citizens; therefore, the UA.NEWS editorial team contacted the notaries who processed the transactions to obtain comments and reached out to law enforcement agencies.
Lawsuit Against the Media
Following the publication of the investigative reports, Goldsky filed a lawsuit against UA.NEWS seeking protection of his honor, dignity, and business reputation. However, the court dismissed the case due to procedural deficiencies, specifically the lack of proof of payment of the court fee.
