Since the beginning of the day, there have been 84 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian troops. The enemy's main efforts are concentrated in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook with operational information as of 04:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 3 December.
‘In total, there have been 84 combat clashes since the beginning of the day,’ the report said.
According to the General Staff, artillery shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation affected border settlements, in particular Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv region; Bobylivka, Zarichne, and Kucherivka in the Sumy region.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled two Russian attacks, with the enemy carrying out 78 shellings since the beginning of the day, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.
In the South Slobozhanskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 11 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Synelnykove, Ambarne, and in the direction of Kolodyazne. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, one combat engagement with the enemy continues in the Pishchane area.
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked four times in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Derylove, and Mirne.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defence Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Yampil, Dronivka and Serebryanka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, two clashes are currently ongoing in the Chasovy Yar area.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, our soldiers stopped 16 enemy offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbinivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the directions of Novopavlivka, Stepanivka, and Torske, with three more clashes still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 24 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Novokonomichne, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetsk, and in the direction of Sofiivka, Bilytske, and Hryshyne. Defence forces are holding back the enemy's advance and have already stopped 17 attacks.
Today, in the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked nine times in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Sosnivka, Verbove, and Pryvilne.
In the Huliaipole direction, four clashes were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Zatyshshia, Huliaipole and towards Pryluky.
In the Orikhiv direction, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded at this time.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders three times in the area of Antonivsky Bridge and was repelled.
In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
