Zelenskyy arrived in the UK for the E3 Plus Ukraine meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in the United Kingdom, where important bilateral talks are scheduled with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as well as a meeting of leaders in the E3 plus Ukraine format. As
French President Emmanuel Macron and German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz will also participate in this diplomatic format. Ukrainian and European teams have already conducted substantive preparatory work, and now the leaders are set to directly coordinate key defense and political issues.
The main topics of the upcoming talks at the level of the four states’ leaders will be the defense of Ukraine in the war against Russian aggression, expanding cooperation for the security of all of Europe by strengthening air defense (AD), as well as the formation of a common vision regarding diplomatic prospects. Volodymyr Zelenskyy separately emphasized that Europe must be represented at the upcoming talks and must have a strong, consolidated position.
An official meeting between the President of Ukraine and His Majesty King Charles III is also scheduled for the following day. The President expressed his sincere gratitude to the United Kingdom and all international partners who are taking concrete steps to help the country strengthen the protection of human lives, provide military aid, and increase sanctions pressure on Russia for its war of aggression, emphasizing that Russia must end this aggression.

Earlier it was reported that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in London on Sunday, June 7.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow is allegedly ready for negotiations to end the war against Ukraine, but sees no willingness for dialogue on the Ukrainian side.
