Zelenskyy honored the Paralympians: Ukraine won 19 medals at the 2026 Games

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the athletes of Ukraine’s National Paralympic Team and their coaches with state awards for their successful performance at the 2026 Winter Paralympic Games in Italy.

The Ukrainian team won 19 medals, demonstrating outstanding results and strength of spirit.

The President emphasized that the Paralympians’ performance was yet another testament to the resilience of Ukrainians and their strength of will.

“At these Games, our flag was raised once again, and our national anthem rang out triumphantly,” Zelenskyy noted.

He thanked the athletes, coaches, and all team members for their achievements, emphasizing that their success unites Ukrainians around feelings of pride and gratitude.
