Honda has no plans yet to bring Fit back to the US market — Motor1
Honda currently has no active program to return the subcompact Fit hatchback to the US market. At the same time, the company does not rule out such a possibility in the future. American Honda sales chief Lance Woelfer said that bringing the model back is an option the company may consider.
As Motor1 reports, Woelfer also said that Honda is exploring all options in the affordable segment of its model lineup. However, the company has not announced a decision to resume Fit sales in the United States and has no separate active program for this.
Focus on Civic and HR-V
Instead of reviving the discontinued model, Honda is prioritizing production of the Civic and HR-V. According to Woelfer, demand for these models is sufficiently high, so the company would rather expand their production than return the Fit to the US market.

The Fit disappeared from US dealerships about five years ago. Honda is aware of demand for affordable compact cars, but there is no specific plan for mass production of the Fit for the United States.
Production plans through 2030
Honda Executive Vice President Noriya Kaihara told journalists that the company's production capacity in North America is almost fully utilized. The manufacturer is considering building an eighth assembly plant in the region, which could begin operating around 2030 and would mainly produce hybrid vehicles.
According to Kaihara, implementation of this project may depend on the continuation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. Honda must make a decision on the plant within one to two years. By March 2030, the company also plans to introduce 15 new hybrid models for North America.
