Voltpost unveils chargers for parking garages and walls
Voltpost has unveiled two Level 2 electric vehicle chargers — Air Ceiling Mount and Air Surface Mount. As InsideEVs reports, the new products have joined the Voltpost Air lineup, designed to modernize existing infrastructure. According to the company, such solutions could simplify charger installation in places without a private parking space or an available pole.
Ceiling and wall mounting
The Air Ceiling Mount is intended for garage parking facilities. The device is attached to the ceiling, with charging cables hanging down to the vehicle, allowing parking space to remain unobstructed.
The Air Surface Mount model is installed directly on walls or special posts. Voltpost says this option is designed for parking lots and roadside locations where there is no pole. The charger can be installed, in particular, on a building wall or on a post secured to the surface.

Installation cost
Both systems feature retractable cables that help keep charging equipment above the ground. Voltpost says mounting to existing structures makes it possible to avoid digging up sidewalks and excavating trenches. According to the company’s estimate, this approach could reduce installation costs by up to 70% and shorten the work from several days to several hours.
At the same time, for such chargers to appear in residential complexes or parking lots, building and property owners must decide to install the equipment and finance the work.
