Jaguar Unveils the Interior of the Electric Type 01
Jaguar has released the first images of the interior of its upcoming Type 01 electric vehicle. The car will feature a minimalist interior in shades of beige, with the four seats separated by a central element that runs the length of the cabin.
The released photos show a low-set driver’s seat, a slim dashboard, and a smartphone-style central display. The model does not feature a traditional interior rearview mirror.

Instead, Jaguar plans to use the ClearSight Rear View Display, located at the bottom of the windshield. The company stated that it will be at the same height as the side mirrors to help the driver stay focused. The manufacturer also mentioned hidden compartments and technologies that will appear only when needed, though they are not visible in the published images.
According to The Verge, the Type 01 will be a follow-up to the Type 00 concept, which Jaguar first unveiled in 2024. It will be the brand’s first production vehicle built on Jaguar’s electric architecture. A camouflaged prototype of the model will be shown at Monterey Car Week, and the official unveiling is scheduled for October 6.
