The Nissan Skyline GT-R set a speed record for passenger cars in Estonia
Alexander Lakh, driving a Nissan Skyline GT-R, reached a speed of 416 km/h at the Kiltse airfield and set a new Estonian record for passenger cars. According to ERR News, he surpassed his own 2020 record—which stood at 402 km/h.
According to the organizers of the One Mile Challenge, the 416 km/h mark is likely the highest speed ever reached by a passenger car on land in Estonia. At that speed, the car covers nearly 116 meters per second. ERR News notes that this is significantly faster than the takeoff speed of large passenger aircraft.

During the competition, 12 participants exceeded the 300 km/h mark. In particular, Anti Kevvai reached this speed in a BMW 1M over a half-mile distance.
Virgo Rikk took second place overall in a Porsche 911 Turbo with a speed of 351 km/h, while Aron Voola came in third in a Ferrari 849 Testarossa, reaching 343 km/h. The fastest female participant was Smilla Sangrenebo in a Chevrolet Corvette, clocking 305 km/h. Among diesel cars, Tarmo Pillerpau in a BMW 840xd posted the best result at 255 km/h.
