Praga claimed a faster lap at Spa-Francorchamps than Pagani
Czech manufacturer Praga announced that its Bohema road hypercar completed a lap of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium in 2 minutes 21.420 seconds. According to Motor1, this time would be faster than that of the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC—2 minutes and 23.081 seconds.
According to Praga, development driver Aleš Jirásek was behind the wheel. The run took place during the Curbstone track day: other cars were on the track at the same time, and the Bohema was equipped with the street tires that come standard on the model. The company also stated that the car did not undergo any special preparation for the run.
However, the result has not yet been independently verified as an official record. Motor1 notes that there is no published independent timing report or formal confirmation from Praga, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, or the Curbstone organizer regarding the exact date, event, and lap time.
