Kyivzelenbud Responds to the Scandal Over Equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Teremky
"Kyivzelenbud" has denied reports that special equipment allegedly donated by British partners to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is being used in the Teremky neighborhood. The municipal association stated that the equipment in question is being used to construct a heating network for the “Teremky-1” and “Teremky-2” neighborhoods.
The markings on the company’s vehicles sparked speculation online. The municipal association explained that the specialized equipment is not humanitarian aid—the British-made excavators were officially purchased from a private company as part of its ongoing business operations.
The stickers on the vehicles indicate that the selling company is directing a portion of its profits from the sale of the equipment to support the Ukrainian military. This labeling demonstrates the seller’s civic stance, not the military purpose of the vehicles themselves.
In light of this, “Kyivzelenbud” is calling on bloggers and activists to rely on verified sources, refrain from spreading misinformation, and avoid exploiting the topic of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
