The Kyiv City State Administration has issued a warning about traffic restrictions at the intersection of Baseina Street and Bessarabsky Passage
From October 1 to 18, traffic will be partially blocked at the intersection of Baseynaya Street and Bessarabsky Passage in the Pecherskyi District of Kyiv. From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., specialists from the Pechersk Road Maintenance Department will be lowering the curbs and repairing the sidewalk around the Bessarabsky Quarter.
During the work, traffic will be partially restricted to a single lane. The municipal corporation apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and asks residents to take these restrictions into account when planning their routes.
Lowering the curbs is one of the steps in creating a barrier-free environment. Such work improves the accessibility of sidewalks and crosswalks for all city residents.
This was reported by the Official Portal of Kyiv.
As a reminder, the police have warned Ukrainians about fake traffic violation fines.
Fines for speeding will be sharply increased in Ukraine.
