Warehouses are on fire in the Kyiv region following a Russian drone strike
On the evening of September 1, Russian forces once again attacked the Kyiv region with strike drones. In the Bucha district, warehouse facilities were damaged, and a fire broke out there following the strike. Additionally, in the Brovary district, a woman was injured and a private home was damaged.
On the evening of September 1, Russia once again launched attack drones at the Kyiv region. The attack is taking place amid the sixth consecutive day of Russian strikes on the region. “The enemy continues to terrorize the Kyiv region. The drone attacks have been ongoing for six days now,” he noted. In the Brovary district, a woman born in 1971 was injured as a result of the Russian attack. She sustained a thigh injury.
The victim was hospitalized at a local hospital. Medical staff are providing her with the necessary care. A private home was also damaged in the Brovary district. The exact extent of the damage is currently being assessed. The most severe consequences of the attack were recorded in the Bucha district. There, a Russian strike damaged warehouse facilities, after which a fire broke out on the premises.
Rescue workers are on the scene. They are extinguishing the fire and surveying the area following the attack. Oleksandr Medvid, acting head of the Borshchahivka village council and secretary of the Borshchahivka village council, provided a separate report on the consequences of the strike. According to him, a direct hit was recorded in the village of Chaiky. Relevant services are working at the site.
Information regarding the consequences of the attack is still being verified. In particular, experts must determine the final extent of damage to buildings and other property. Thus, as a result of the evening attack in the Kyiv region, one person is known to have been injured, and a private home and warehouse facilities were damaged, with a fire breaking out in the warehouse following the strike.

In Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District, a fire broke out in an open area near private residential buildings. Emergency services are already heading to the scene, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
An air raid alert was issued in Kyiv and several regions on the evening of September 1 at 6:24 p.m. due to the threat of Russian UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Force urged citizens to immediately seek shelter or follow the “two-wall rule” if safe buildings are not accessible.
