In the Kyiv region, the schedule for commuter trains has been changed due to prolonged air raid alerts
On Wednesday, August 27, due to ongoing air raid alerts and for safety reasons, a number of commuter trains bound for Kyiv are running with delays.
The following trains are running with delays to Kyiv or through the Kyiv region:
- No. 6905 Nizhyn – Kyiv-Volynskyi — delay of 3 hours, 50 minutes;
- No. 6903 Nizhyn – Kyiv-Volynskyi — 3 hours, 35 minutes delay;
- No. 6002 Fastiv-1 – Kyiv-Pas. (Suburban) — 3 hours, 7 minutes delay;
- No. 6902 Kyiv-Volynskyi – Nizhyn — 3-hour delay;
- No. 881 Hrebinka – Kyiv-Passenger — delay of 2 hours, 37 minutes;
- No. 6722/6721 Myronivka – Kyiv-Passenger — 2-hour delay;
- No. 6204/6012 Koziatyn-1 – Kyiv-Pas. — 47-minute delay;
- No. 893 Konotop-Passenger – Kyiv-Passenger (Pivnichna) — 30-minute delay;
- No. 6610 Korosten – Borshchahivka — 30-minute delay
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized that train service may be suspended in the event of an increased threat.
Passengers are urged not to wait for trains on the platforms during an air raid alert. During a danger situation, they must take shelter or remain at a distance of more than 100 meters from railway infrastructure.
Railway workers and passengers are asked to monitor further announcements regarding train service, as delay times may vary depending on the security situation.

As a reminder, on August 23, Russian terrorist forces attacked Ukraine’s railway infrastructure five times. One person was killed and four others were injured as a result of the strikes.
On the night of August 27, following a Russian attack in Boryspil, Kyiv Oblast, large-scale fires broke out at warehouse facilities.
