A Mitsubishi and a Kia collided in Irpin; children were taken to the hospital
On the evening of June 16, a traffic accident involving two passenger cars occurred in Irpin. Three children who were in one of the cars were injured in the collision. All of the victims were taken to the hospital, and the police are investigating the cause of the accident.
A traffic accident occurred in the Bucha District of the Kyiv Region, resulting in injuries to three minors. The accident took place on the evening of June 16 in Irpin. According to law enforcement officials, a report of the accident was received via the 102 emergency hotline around 6:00 p.m.
Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of a Mitsubishi was traveling along Universytetska Street. At some point, he lost control of the vehicle, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Kia. There were children in the Mitsubishi, who sustained injuries in the accident. “Law enforcement officials have preliminarily established that the driver of the Mitsubishi, while traveling along Universytetska Street, lost control of the vehicle, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with a Kia. As a result of the accident, three minors who were in the Mitsubishi sustained injuries,” the National Police reported.
All of the injured children have been hospitalized. Doctors are providing them with the necessary medical care. No information regarding the children’s condition or possible injuries has been released at this time.
Law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the accident. They are documenting the circumstances of the incident and determining the exact cause of the collision. The police noted that an investigation into all the circumstances of the accident is ongoing. “All those injured were hospitalized to receive the necessary medical care,” law enforcement officials emphasized.

Starting June 17, traffic on Verkhovna Rada Boulevard in Kyiv will be partially restricted due to scheduled roadwork. The restrictions will last about two weeks and will affect a section in the Dniprovskyi district of the capital.
