In Kyiv, two drivers were fined for speeding at over 130 km/h
During a speed enforcement operation using a TruCam device on June 16, patrol officers stopped two drivers who were significantly exceeding the speed limit in the city. The Skoda and BMW were traveling at speeds of 134 km/h and 140 km/h, respectively, according to police:
We reminded the drivers of the traffic rules and issued them citations under Part 4 of Article 122 (Exceeding the established speed limits by more than 50 km/h) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.


We remind you that in populated areas, vehicles are permitted to travel at a speed of no more than 50 km/h.

Earlier, on June 5, a major traffic accident occurred in Kyiv, resulting in four deaths and three injuries. The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Vadym Hetman and Ushynsky Streets near Karavaevy Dachi. Two young police officers were killed in this accident.
