In Kyiv, a drunk woman threw a small dog off the 4th floor
In Kyiv, a 55-year-old woman, while intoxicated during a party, grabbed a 4-year-old Pinscher and threw it off a fourth-floor balcony. The animal died from its injuries.
The incident occurred on Svobody Avenue. An eyewitness notified the police after seeing a man carrying the dead dog in his arms. Law enforcement officials determined that the deceased Pinscher, named Elsa, was found by its owner beneath the windows of a high-rise building.
According to the investigation, the woman had been drinking alcohol with the apartment owner and other acquaintances. She then grabbed the dog and threw it off the balcony.
Law enforcement officials informed the woman that she is suspected of animal cruelty, which resulted in the dog’s death and was committed with particular cruelty. She faces up to 8 years in prison.
