In Kyiv, three schoolgirls beat up a 15-year-old girl

In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, three schoolgirls aged 13–14 beat up a 15-year-old girl on the grounds of an educational institution. Law enforcement officers identified all those involved in the incident and issued administrative citations to the minors’ parents.

Law enforcement officers discovered a video on social media showing three girls beating a 15-year-old student on a volleyball court located on the grounds of one of the schools in the Holosiivskyi district.

After the video went viral, the police launched an investigation and identified all the participants in the altercation. It turned out that three schoolgirls aged 13–14, who attend three different schools in the district, were involved in the assault on the 15-year-old girl.

After the participants in the conflict were identified, juvenile police officers and a psychologist spoke with the minors and their parents.

In addition, a separate meeting was held at the school. It was attended by school principals and representatives of social services.

Based on the results of the investigation, administrative reports were filed against the parents of the three minors under Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. This pertains to the failure of parents or guardians to fulfill their duties regarding the upbringing of their children.

According to the administrative reports, the parents may be fined between 850 and 1,700 hryvnias.

Thus, after a video of the altercation appeared on social media, law enforcement identified the three minors involved in the assault, conducted preventive counseling with the teenagers and their parents, and held the parents administratively liable.

Earlier in Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained two teenagers who, according to the investigation, brutally beat a passerby after he made a remark to them. At the time of the attack, the minors were intoxicated.
