A man who robbed a woman with a child was arrested in Kyiv
In Kyiv, law enforcement officers arrested a 38-year-old local resident who robbed a 45-year-old woman and her 6-year-old son. The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
The incident took place on Myropilska Street in the Dniprovskyi district of the capital. The woman was returning home from work with her child when she encountered a group of people relaxing on the street. The attacker, who was intoxicated, began to follow the victim. When the Kyiv resident tried to enter her building, the man caught up with her and snatched a backpack containing money and personal belongings from her shoulder.
Witnesses reported the incident to the police, after which law enforcement officers identified and detained the suspect within half an hour. He was notified that he is suspected of robbery committed under martial law.
