The number of casualties in Kyiv has risen following the Russian Federation's overnight attack
In the capital, the number of casualties resulting from a massive attack by the Russian Federation has risen to 38, including 18 men and 18 women, as well as two children. According to forensic medical examinations, five people were killed by enemy strikes, one of whom died while already in the hospital.
Currently, nine of those hospitalized are in moderate condition, and another 28 people, including children aged 5 and 6 and a pregnant woman, received outpatient care. The patients primarily suffered from mine-blast, head, and shrapnel injuries, as well as burns and smoke inhalation from fires that broke out, notably at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Dovzhenko Film Studio.
At 55 locations across the city, 69 emergency medical teams were deployed to address the aftermath, ensuring that all injured individuals received the necessary treatment in full.
Tetyana Mostipan, Director of the Health Department of the Kyiv City State Administration, reported this on Telegram.
