Ukrainian singer Kamaliya spoke candidly about her relationship with her ex-husband, billionaire Mohammad Zahur, following their divorce. Despite their separation, the couple continues to maintain a close relationship, though disputes still arise between them. The main source of disagreement is the upbringing of their daughters, Arabella and Mirabella.
Kamaliya and Mohammad Zahur announced their divorce in 2023 after nearly 20 years of marriage. At the same time, they have remained on friendly terms since the split.
According to the singer, the former spouses periodically live together and travel, as they try to stay close for the sake of their children.
However, they are unable to completely avoid conflicts. Most of their arguments arise over the upbringing of their 13-year-old twins, Arabella and Mirabella.
“I’m constantly arguing about this,” Kamalia said.
In addition to parenting issues, Kamalia spoke about financial restrictions for her daughters.
Arabella and Mirabella are seriously passionate about equestrian sports. According to the artist, the girls even asked their parents to buy them another horse, but she refused.
Kamalia explained that maintaining four horses already costs the family about 160,000–180,000 hryvnias per month.
At the same time, she said, Mohammad Zahur pays for another horse separately.
The singer noted that the expenses are related not only to the purchase of the animals but also to their ongoing care. This includes feed, grooming, and other stable-related costs.
Therefore, renovating the stable and purchasing another horse would place a significant additional financial burden on the family.
At the same time, Kamaliya emphasizes that despite the divorce, she and Mohammad Zahur continue to work together on matters related to their daughters.
Arabella and Mirabella remain the main issue that unites the former spouses and, at the same time, is the source of their disagreements.
