Bulgarian singer DARA, the winner of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, has been listed among the participants of the controversial Dream Fest in Azerbaijan, where a number of Russian performers and former Ukrainian artists who have continued their careers in Russia will also be performing.

The organizers posted the corresponding poster on the event’s Instagram page and also announced that the artist will perform her contest entry.

The organizers noted: “Bangaranga has already conquered Europe, and now she’s getting ready to conquer Baku as well. On July 23, on the DREAM Fest stage—the winner of “Eurovision 2026,” Dara! A singer whose energy turns every performance into a true musical explosion.”

The festival lineup includes artists who have previously been at the center of public debate on multiple occasions due to their views or activities. Specifically:

  • Ani Lorak
  • Jigan
  • Artik & Asti
  • Yegor Creed
  • Irina Dubtsova
  • Stas Mikhailov
  • Alsu

It is also noted that Regina Todorenko, who continues to work in the Russian entertainment industry, will host the event.

The Dream Fest has already sparked heated debate due to its announced lineup, as the roster includes artists who publicly support Russia and are linked to the Russian entertainment industry alongside international performers.
