Russian rapper Jigan denied shooting at his staff

Russian rapper Jigan (Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein) has denied reports that he allegedly opened fire on staff and security guards at his home in the Moscow region.

The artist stated that the photos and videos showing him with a gun, which have been circulating online, were taken during the filming of a music video.

According to reports from Russian Telegram channels, the incident allegedly took place on the night of July 4. The posts claimed that Jigan fired at employees at his home and held the staff and security guards hostage for some time.

The rapper himself denies these allegations. In a comment to Super, he called the circulating information a provocation and explained the origin of the footage.

“This is a provocation. They can write whatever they want. I was filming a snippet, but the haters twisted everything,” Jigan said.
