Renowned psychic and psychotherapist Anatoly Kashpirovsky has died

Soviet psychotherapist Anatoly Kashpirovsky has died at the age of 87. TV host Andrei Malakhov announced his death.

The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Anatoly Kashpirovsky rose to widespread fame in the late 1980s. At that time, he conducted mass hypnosis sessions and so-called “healings,” including on live television.

Kashpirovsky later continued his public activities. In 1993, he was elected to the Russian State Duma as a representative of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR).

In recent years, Anatoly Kashpirovsky ran his own YouTube channel, where he posted videos and interacted with his audience.

Andrei Malakhov announced Kashpirovsky’s death. 

Earlier, Gilad Ben-Shach, a composer, music editor, and longtime employee of Kol Yisrael, died in Israel at the age of 85. He was one of the founders of the Reshet Gimel radio station and later became its manager. 

In Furano, Japan, screenwriter So Kuramoto—author of scripts for popular Japanese TV dramas, including the series *Kita no Kuni kara*—died on September 18 at the age of 91. The cause of death was multiple organ failure.
